Stamp rewards are powered by your Shopways QR Menu. Customers scan, log in once with OTP, and their rewards follow them on every visit.

1. Customer scans your QR

Use the same QR printed on receipts, at the counter, or table tents. Customers scan it with their phone camera — no app download.

2. One-time OTP login

They verify their phone number via SMS. After that, every visit and reward is tied to that number, so they never need to carry a physical card.

3. View & redeem rewards

Customers see their current stamp balance, how many more until a reward, and can redeem instantly once they reach your threshold (e.g. 10 stamps).

Digital Stamp Rewards – FAQ

No app is required. Customers simply scan your QR (the same one used for QR Menu), verify their phone number once via OTP, and can view their stamps and rewards from any browser.

They can simply scan the QR again and log in with the same phone number. If they redeemed recently, the system knows the exact time and can still show a live “Redeemed X minutes ago” screen within the allowed window, so staff can verify it’s genuine.

Every redemption has a live timer that updates every second and a refresh button that pulls the latest balance from the server. Staff are trained to only honour rewards if the timer is moving or after tapping “Refresh balance”. A static screenshot will not pass this check.

Yes. Each Shopways account can set its own reward threshold, such as 8, 10 or 12 stamps. When a customer reaches that number, the redeem button appears automatically in the QR loyalty view.

Your Shopways iPad POS continues to work offline for taking orders and accruing stamps. The QR loyalty page itself runs on the customer’s phone, so it requires their device to be online (mobile data or Wi-Fi) to load and redeem rewards.
